Workshops

• Starts with performance of Nellie McClung
• Maureen talks in general about her process (not just with recognized historical figures)
• Participants are asked to do a bit of research: could be a relative, someone from the region, or a more famous figure (they need to have a basic outline of what the person did or something they did)
• Participants could bring documents such as photos, letters, diaries if those are available
• Maureen will help participants bring emotion to the story and create a monologue
